737 Cockpit Plus 15 Feet of Cabin in One Section
This is Section 1 from our first 737-500 project: 30' long, 12.5' wide, 10' tall, 8,000 lbs on the steel transport frame. You get a working forward cockpit, entrance galley, lav, and 15' of passenger cabin in a single delivery.
Productions rent it when they need pilot coverage and cabin scenes without coordinating two separate props.
-
Pilot and flight deck scenes
Original controls, switches, and dials stay installed. Paper cut-out instruments stand in for removed glass so the panel still reads authentic in close-up.
-
Cabin dialogue and blocking
11' wide x 15' long x 7' tall interior space. Three rows configured now for 16 seats. Strip it back or add rows from inventory.
-
Emergency sequences
LH and RH cabin doors open. Forward and aft galleys stocked with service carts. Non-functional lav for tight interior shots.
Cockpit Built for Insert Shots and Wide Coverage
Crew seats have functional controls where it matters for hand coverage and switch play. 120v lighting strips run through the flight deck and cabin so you're not rebuilding airline lighting from scratch.
The lower fuselage is cut at the cabin floor line and mounted on steel for stable ground work and flatbed transport.
-
Instrument panel
Analog dials and switches are original hardware. Digital displays use paper replicas sized to match factory layout. Reads correctly on 4K plates.
-
Working flight controls
Yokes, buttons, and panel controls move. Directors get real interaction instead of frozen set dressing.
15 Feet of Cabin Behind the Flight Deck
Current layout: two rows of 3+3 economy and one row of 2+2 business for 16 passengers. Finishings are in strong shape because this interior came straight off a commuter config.
Seats, bins, galleys, and lavs all pull out. Send a floor plan and we'll prep before load-out.
-
Seating flexibility
Swap in business leather sets, 737-800 Max economy rows, or run it empty for cargo or evacuation beats.
-
Galley and doors
Entrance way has forward and aft galley faces with carts and equipment. Both main cabin doors operate for boarding and deplaning shots.
Lighting and Lift Requirements
Built-in cabin and cockpit lighting saves a day on the schedule for many crews. The open end is shrink wrapped for weather when stored outside your stage.
Placement needs a 15,000 lb forklift with 10' forks, two 5,000 lb forklifts lifting from each side, or a 12k telehandler. We'll confirm access at your location before booking.
-
Forward galley and entry
Service trolleys, equipment, and door framing for ground boarding scenes. Works for both narrow interior work and wider shots from the jetway side.
-
Aft lavatory
Complete lav module for tight bathroom beats. Not plumbed, but correct Boeing fit and finish.
-
Left and right cabin doors
Both main doors open on original hinges. Safety teams can block per your protocol; hardware is there for camera.
One section, full airline coverage from the flight deck aft.
If your script lives in the front of the plane, this is the rental. Cockpit, galley, lav, and cabin in one 30' package. We've had this section on features and series where the airline interior is a character, not just background. Ask about pairing with additional fuselage sections or seating pulls from the same 737 inventory.

Tips for Successful Filming
- Plan ahead: Walk us through your shot list early. We can tell you which sections fit, what lighting is already wired, and what rigging you'll need on the day.
- Talk to the art department: Seats, galleys, and bins come out. If you need a specific layout, send a floor plan and we'll prep before delivery.
- Scout the load-in: These are heavy pieces. Confirm forklift or crane access, door widths, and stage height before you lock dates.
- Build in setup time: Most crews want a full day to dress the set and run lighting before actors step in. Budget for that.
- Match the story: A 737 reads as a 737 on camera. Use the real doors, bins, and galley carts. That's what you're renting this for.
